I suggest Liquid Weather++ 
(http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=6384), which runs under 
Super Karamba. You'll drool for days. ;)

In the Control Center, go to Regional & Accessibility -> Keyboard Layout. 
Choose the keyboard layouts that you want to use and click Apply. An icon 
should appear in the system tray that you can use to switch keyboard. In any 
case, pressing Alt+Ctrl+K changes keyboard layout.
