Some mirrors will unpack rpms for you (eg.
http://www.mirror.ac.uk/sites/ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/
though it may be a day or two behind ftp.redhat.com). There has also been
talk of redhat allowing cvs access to their code, though I don't know
whether it is possible yet.
