Hi,
I have Fedora Core 1 installed and I want to use cvs, but it aborts with the message:
"cvs: error while loading shared libraries: libcom_err.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
I found 3 bugs in bugzilla describing this issue from krb point of view. So the resolution is to rebuild cvs.
Now, I don't know how to get cvs rebuilt, unless I have rebuild from source.
How can I rebuild the cvs package?
Or is compile unavailable? I tried up2date cvs, but that does nothing, because cvs is already installed.
Another point is, when I do "rpm -q --requires cvs" | grep libcom" I get:
"libcom_err.so.2"
So I don't understand why it is "screaming" about libcom_err.so.3.
