FYI - Small typo in your 0README file: "Edit /etc/init.d/rc.sysinit" should reference /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit instead.

And thanks! It is nice to have my firewire drive working since the internal laptop drive is much smaller and slower so firewire is handy for holding backups and big stuff like iso images and install trees for different distros.
