You were looking for the configuration of existing queues, not the
names of available printer models, weren't you?  Or did I jump in at
the wrong place?

The printconf-tui --Xexport information wouldn't really help for
knowing whether a printer you are about to buy will work.  The
information at www.linuxprinting.org can help there though, and that
information is all in XML form in /usr/share/foomatic.
