If it's an NTFS partition you need the Linux NTFS tool available at:

http://linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net/

(RPM's available, see top of page)

Otherwise just mount the partition you want to dump to like Christophe
said. (if '-t msdos' doesn't work, try '-t fat' or '-t vfat').
