Even some 20 years later, the promise of a computer in every home is yet to become a reality. Some countries like India, and Brazil have been producing very low-cost machines which are linux-based. In the "developed countries", there are many new users who find the "older junk" machines suit their means. The computer is now becoming as essential as a standard (as opposed to cellular) telephone. ... a very good argument for a *user-friendly* and "light" linux system!
