Yes. It *is* appropriate for this list. I have posted on the shrike-list,
and fedora-test-list, instructions on HOWTO find and install RealOne
(Realplayer 9 for linux). That said, you can safely ignore  ... AND
even *remove* Realplayer from your linux system. Why?

Here's the *good news*: go to http://www.freshrpms.org. or
http://www.livna.org, and get xine and gxine. Once installed, you can
use gxine as your default player for many file types *including*
realaudio / realvideo content!
