Problems testing Jabberd

I wanted to do my part so I went out and grabbed a package (jabberd) to
do some QA testing on.  However, when I tried to build the src I get an
error that it requires pth-devel.  Which I can not find in the distro or
anywhere in the QA.  Frustrated...  Please advise.
