Hi all,

I try to install Oracle 9i database on a Fedora box, and I always have this error :

[fedora-l]:/cdrom> Initializing Java Virtual Machine from /tmp/OraInstall2003-11-19_04-53-35PM/jre/bin/java. Please wait...
Error occurred during initialization of VM
Unable to load native library: /tmp/OraInstall2003-11-19_04-53-35PM/jre/lib/i386/libjava.so: symbol __libc_wait, version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference

I put LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1 into the profile of my oracle user, but I have the same problem.

Is anybody having a solution for this?

Thanks

Regards,
