It just hangs. usermod -G ... is stuck. usermod is part of shadow-utils and is called to add users to k3b's cdrecording group. It if hangs, that's a problem outside k3bsetup. I can't reproduce it. With those privileges it changes permissions of cdrecord to -rwsr-x--- and ownership to root.cdrecording. The package even includes a fix for a bug in k3b 0.9 which sets insufficient permissions. --
