Redhat 9 was the first version of Redhat which supported the RealTek ALC650 sound chip. It supported it with the via82cxxx driver.

Unfortunately sound is no longer working after upgrading to Fedora Core 1. I've looked around lots of places including the module source and the kernel release notes for hints but have come up with absolutely no explanation of why it's no longer working. Anyone have experience with getting an ALC650 working under Fedora?

I am using an EPoX 8K3A+ mobo.
