Do you see the Grub interface? eg: Do you see Grub being loaded up when you boot the PC? If you have XP, you will have either NTloader or Grub. Depending on where you installed Grub. Into the MBR of Hd1(LINux) or hd0(XP). For me, I have the NTLOader.. I load up Grub from NTloader. Then I select which Linux I want to boot from Grub. so.. it's a 2 step process to load Linux on my system.
