Hi,
I am looking at using ATA RAID on a server I am going to be putting together pretty soon..
There seem to be a number of these cards on the market now, namely 3ware, Adaptec, Promise and ICP/Vortex.. I guess there are probably others as well..
Which of these cards just work?? What I mean by that is which don't require a seperate driver to be added at install time or don't have issues when it comes to kernel upgrade time??
Hearing about your experiences will help a lot in making the choice..
