I think I found it... It seems to be happening to "older/lq cdroms". When inserting them, the contents doesn't come pupping up as they should. Only whith those cd's, I have to log off, log in and they can be ejected... Happened to me yesterday. I had opened a terminal, and was in /mnt/cdrom as my normal user then su'd to root to do something.
