My previous problem with slow scrollkeeper is back :-(. After I install "xml-common" package from atrpms the following command takes forever to execute: scrollkeeper-rebuilddb -v -p /var/lib/scrollkeeper/ The problem is that it loses some DTD registration (I'm not an expert here) and downloads the DTD from the net every time it's accessed. The remedy is to: rpm -Uhv --force $FEDORA_CD/xml-common-0.6.3-14.noarch.rpm rpm -Uhv --force $FEDORA_CD/docbook-dtds-1.0-22.1.noarch.rpm (note that just re-installing docbook-dtds doesn't help). Can someone please verify this and fix it in atrpms? Jarek BTW. Every time I install, reinstall or upgrade "xml-common" I get the following: /etc/xml/catalog created as /etc/xml/catalog.rpmnew Should /etc/xml/catalog ever be a part of the RPM? It looks like a dynamic file which changes quite often.
