I see the same thing. It doesn't seem to have any effect on anything, but it would be nice to know what it is and fix it.
# rpm -qi gpm
# service gpm stop # chkconfig gpm --list # chkconfig gpm off
should be ok for you if you aren´t working on tty[1-6]
