You are correct. I just did so. In fact I had no dependency problems at
all. Nor did I notice the EISA issue.

Well I'm going to make the same kernel for our server now in advance of
a Yarrow upgrade. Thanks for your courteous reply.

Now if someone could only fix the 3c575bt NIC problem
