This is pretty bizarre:
[root@rivendell root]# rpmbuild --rebuild fluxbox-0.1.14-0.fdr.6.0.94.src.rpm [...snip...] + cd /usr/src/redhat/BUILD + rm -rf fluxbox-0.1.14 /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.75232: line 27: 3674 Segmentation fault rm -rf fluxbox-0.1.14 error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.75232 (%prep)
So, it segfaulted when executing rm?
Now i'm really worried.
I built the same package on a fresh installation of Fedora Core 1 without any trouble. Check your glibc "rpm -q glibc; rpm -V glibc". If that doesn't get you anywhere, run memtest86 for a few hours. It can't hurt.
