Install FC1 with the "Install Everything" option.
After install, use YUM to make sure that your Fedora Core is all up2date.
Go to FreshRPMS.net and download the apt rpm.
Now, try apt-get update
apt-get upgrade.
You will immediately notice that FreshRPMS has
a newer version of gimp, that you can install, but apt will tell you that
you have to uninstall:
gimp-perl gimp-print-plugin gtkam-gimp xsane-gimp
In order to upgrade gimp.
