I have the same mouse. I use it as a Generic Wheel Mouse PS2 (I have it in the ps2 port for my docking station) I haven't had any problems with mine. Choosing the USB Generic Wheel mouse should work also.

Hello, I tried installing the Logitech MX 700 usb mouse (Which comes
with the Logitech desktop MX package) on a Toshiba Satellite M10 Laptop
without any success. Even though the usb keyboard works just fine, the
mouse does not respond correctly. I configured the mouse in
redhat-config-mouse as a Logitech "Cordless USB MOUSE".

Is the mouse just not supported by Fedora or does the fact that my
laptop already have a built in mouse somehow interferes with the normal
operation of the USB mouse.

Any remedy?
Thanks,
