If the MD5 value for the downloaded ISO matches properly, you don't need
to re-download. The whole point of the MD5 check of the ISO is that the
probability of having a bad ISO image that generates the right MD5 value
is infinitesimal.

However, if you might be using off-brand (cheap) CD-R's, that is the
more likely problem. Be sure that you are using high quality CD-R's. 
That is the most common source of media check related problems.
