FC1, ACPI, and Compaq Evo N800c
[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]
I've got a Compaq Evo N800c on which I am currently running RH9 with a
custom patched and compiled 2.4.20-18 kernel. It took me about 2 weeks
of reading up on ACPI and tracking down a custom DSDT and patches to get
it working. I'd like to try Yarrow on it, but I'm cringing at the
prospect of having to figure everything out on a new kernel version. Is
anyone running Yarrow on an Evo N800c, or similar machine? Care to
share how you configured it? Barring that, would everything work
reasonably well if I upgraded to Yarrow but continued to use the old kernel?
Thanks
Mike
