It gets even funnier. No sooner had I paid than the certificate expired
and those systems could no longer connect. I fixed my firewall right
asway - and it's fine. A few weeks later, i tried to fix the others, but
the rpm for applying the new certificate ends in '-1'.....and that fails
if you do not have the same rpm - but for the '-1' already installed.

So I've paid for the 6 systems - but only 1 is actually receiving the
support becasue the certificate rpm can't be aplied to the others
because the pre-req isn't available.

That's why I've just installed Gentoo 1.4 on one of my sytems. I'm
looking for a new 'secondary' distro. I tried Debian, but "woody' is too
old for most of my new hardware and it's a huge pain to get everything
going....no video, no network - for starters.

I've obviously relied too heavily on just one (Red Hat)....and each
distro has their own, wee learning curve. So it pays to be very familiar
with at least two - diverse - distros.
