Any comments on laptop things would be helpful. By and larger I am very
happy with Fedora on my Dell Inspiron 600M.
Someone mentioned that you could get started by editing grub.conf and adding "acpi=on" to your kernel command line.
Then have to read the acpi documentation to see how to work on it after that.
