So.... I need a Fedora/linux user per mail account, isn't it? And the

Is 'that' simple?
Yes. Any user on your system has access to mail. Conversely, anyone
that will receive mail on your system must be a user. The IMAP system
authenticates using the same mechanism that logins use, so the usernames
and passwords are the same. Squirrelmail depends on IMAP to
authenticate the user, so it uses the same username and password as the
rest of the system.
By the way, we prefer bottom posting on this list.

Hi,
I've already installed Fedora as well as SquirrelMail to serve the
mail needs of a small community.
Anybody can give me some hints about how to start configuring the
accounts?
Is there a graphical frontend for the IMAP server that I can use?
"useradd newuser"
IOW, just add users to the system in what ever manner you choose to do that.
