So in that case, I'd say this assumption is half baked at best. When using mutt I don't sign my messages automatically, but if I use sylpheed, it does sign messages automatically. I prefer this method for *me* because I do not necessarily send vital information away from home. But if I do I -can- sign it quite easily. Not that this is a federal case or anything, I just would hate for the idea to crop up that people signing messages around here are doing so just because they can, or because they are fiddling with it. Personally I did all my fiddling with it back in 1999 and some of 2000/2001,I accidentally exported like 6 keys to the servers "just playing with it." Yeah that was my bad. But, now I know how the frickin' application functions and what purposes it serves. So now I feel all guilty for just makin' keys to be making them. I suppose at this point, can't do much about it. Yeah it really pays off to ignore that warning "Don't send keys unless you're familiar with how gpg works." Maybe this entire response is just a way for me to get that off my chest lol Who knows. I need more soda. Be Cool and Stay Live Alex -- If you understand, things are just as they are; if you do not understand, things are just as they are. --Spoken in Zen
