AFAIK, the only simple way to mount an ntfs partition is to install an
rpm that gives ntfs support to the kernel.  Since I don't think(?) any
such ntfs support rpm's exist for Fedora Core yet, you'll probably need
to recompile the kernel:

  http://linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net/info/compile.html

There is a kernel option for NTFS support which you'll have to select
when you configure the kernel.  For this you'll need the kernel-source.
