Hi Im having a few problems getting my new Palm T3 to talk to Fedora. I noticed that in November, someone posted a message with the same problem and there were no follow ups. I have posted the message at the bottom of this one. Here is what appears in my log when I try and sync my new Palm T3 by hitting the sync button: Dec 30 14:27:19 FC1 kernel: hub.c: new USB device 00:10.2-2, assigned address 3 Dec 30 14:27:19 FC1 kernel: usbserial.c: Handspring Visor / Treo / Palm 4.0 / Clie 4.x converter detected Dec 30 14:27:19 FC1 kernel: usbserial.c: Handspring Visor / Treo / Palm 4.0 / Clie 4.x converter now attached to ttyUSB0 (or usb/tts/0 for devfs) Dec 30 14:27:19 FC1 kernel: usbserial.c: Handspring Visor / Treo / Palm 4.0 / Clie 4.x converter now attached to ttyUSB1 (or usb/tts/1 for devfs) Dec 30 14:27:22 FC1 usb.agent[6139]: missing kernel or user mode driver visor Dec 30 14:27:27 FC1 devlabel: devlabel service started/restarted Dec 30 14:28:20 FC1 kernel: usb.c: USB disconnect on device 00:10.2-2 address 3 Dec 30 14:28:20 FC1 kernel: usbserial.c: Handspring Visor / Treo / Palm 4.0 / Clie 4.x converter now disconnected from ttyUSB0 Dec 30 14:28:20 FC1 kernel: usbserial.c: Handspring Visor / Treo / Palm 4.0 / Clie 4.x converter now disconnected from ttyUSB1 Dec 30 14:28:25 FC1 devlabel: devlabel service started/restarted I hope someone knows the answer as I love running Fedora and its a real shame to not have it work with my palm. Many thanks Adrian Heres the other message on the same subject from November.
