Lorma, a little broken, Fedora based

I am running from Lorma and it seems to be a bit broken.

"Off The Shelf" - synaptic doesn't work. The package installer doesn't
work.

This distro allows you to upgrade from a fedora installation. However,
it states that you have i386 programs installed and the distribution is
compiled for i686.

I chose a clean install and left my development Fedora and my distro
using the reiserfs (up to testing, no devel) intact.

This distro might be fun to toy with or pull educational and multimedia
programs from. In the meantime, it needs refining.

If you want to start i686 based and build up to Fedora regular, like
I'll probably do, it might be interesting.

But I feel that there is not really any noticeable speed for program
execution with the i686 compilation.
