you figure out the problem. Printers have never been my strong suite. Ok - not much is. :)
I am using CUPS. I made the change to DEBUG2 but the output doesn't mean
much to me. I tried to print a test page from the printer config window. Got no response from the printer .
The printer is a Lexmark inkjet (1020).
