Fedora Core 1, sis900 and averatec laptop

Dear lcchang,

I'm trying to get my sis900 equipped laptop (Averatec 3120V) to network
under Fedora Core 1.  Networking worked the very first time I booted
after installing FC1, but hasn't worked since.

I've seen some mention of this problem with "eth0: Media Link Off" with
other linux distributions and I'm wondering if this is the bug "3) The
media type change from 10Mbps to 100Mbps twisted-pair ethernet by
ifconfig causes the media link down." mentioned in the driver code.
