Hello all,
when we are trying to connect to the Linux machine. ( in
the LAN) through an telnet. we are getting an error displayed. and it
also delays to connect in to the system, Can any one kindly help me in
resolving the problem

I'd guess you're somewhere trying to use Kerberos passwording? Not sure how to change it to regular if that's what's being done. If you *want* to use Kerberos, try getting that admin involved in the question, too.
Of course, that assumes "KDC" is "Kerberos Domain Controller".
