Is this even possible on a mac? Do the let you boot up a floppy > or cdrom so I can format the drive? You'll need a Linux distro built for PowerPC. And Fedora Core currently only supports x86. I'm not sure if the PowerPC edition of Red Hat Enterprise Linux supports Macintosh hardware but it may. I run Yellow Dog Linux on my old Performa 6400/180: http://www.yellowdoglinux.com/ If you have hardware that will run MacOS X then you should be able to boot directly to YDL's installation CD. -- David Norris http://www.webaugur.com/dave/ ICQ - 412039
