question about redhat-config-network

I was wondering why running redhat-config-network, but not making any changes, puts the entry “PEERDNS=no” into /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/if<instancename>-cfg.

For a laptop user, or really any newer user that doesn’t understand the configuration, this can cause major issues since the resolv.conf will no longer be updated as a result of DHCP requests.  How about having a check box on the dns tab that prevents/removes this entry?
