Fedora C1 freezed on IBM eServer

Hi all,

I installed Fedora Core 1 on this IBM eServer, 1U, Dual 2.8 Ghz processor. First installation crashed when copying the packages. Second try, installed. After login as root, looks fast, but it occasionally freezed for 1 to 2 seconds. The interval is random, and averagely each 30 seconds. I left it idle, but it crashed itself after about 6 hours. No major services are running. It is fresh installation.

I tried to upgrade the system. Still the same problem. Log file shows gdm failed to do something (can't remember as I have wipe out change to RH9).

I recompiled the kernel using kernel-source. Still same problem. My colleague test on his personal desktop (P4), he said quite good, no problem so far.

I wonder anybody else out there have any luck on IBM eserver?

Thanks.
