Antonio, IIRC, for ADSL, there are actually *two* steps to set up
the Internet connection: 1) you have to enable the network interface
(as if you were connected via cable, and 2) enable pppoe. I *did*
use an ADSL service for a few months last, year, so I do know that
there are two steps (instead of one) for the setup.
