Support for the variable service has been implemented in this patchset.
The interfaces are:
efi.get_variable
efi.get_next_variable
efi.set_variable
And a sysfs interface (/sys/firmware/efi/vars) is provided in
drivers/firmware/efivars.c, which depends on this patchset to work.
