I needed `setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH /usr/local/lib' to be able to run
`scanbuttond -p 1000'
and after a few minutes I'm seeing zero growth of
/proc/spabinfo:sysfs_dir_cache over a few minutes, with 2.6.23-rc4.
Perhaps it's a specific device driver?
