Turned out kvm and slub didn't like each other.  Please try applying
these two patches, in order:

  http://people.qumranet.com:8888/avi/kvm-late-fixes-rollup.patch
  http://people.qumranet.com:8888/avi/kvm-vs-slub-fix.patch
