I just built it from scratch(the one that comes with SuSE 10.1 is
useless for DVDs), and tried it in 2.6.19-rc1 after verifying that it
worked fine in 2.6.17.

hdd: ATAPI 63X DVD-ROM DVD-R CD-R/RW drive, 2048kB Cache, UDMA(33)
