Sam,
this script results in build errors because stuff in scripts/ and boot/
doesnt get rebuilt if the source dir changes. I was under the impression
that the absolute path of the source dir is part of the build dependency.
Even going from 2.6.18 to 2.6.17 fails.
This used to work with older kernels, I think.
