That's odd.  It implies that the proc file paths are flatten.
The "oss" should appear like:

  /proc/asound/oss/devices
  /proc/asound/oss/sndstat
  /proc/asound/card0/pcm0p/sub0/oss
  /proc/asound/card0/pcm0c/sub0/oss

Any incompatibilites with procfs interface in mm?
