These are with the install tarballs:
cd ieee80211-version
. remove-old
make
make install
cd ipw2200-version
. remove-old

make install
I don´t see why you get those error with the included version of the
ipw2200 driver but the errors above are because of an ipw2200 driver
missmatch against ieee80211
