PROBLEM: lots of frame errors with madwifi + PCI1225 CardBridge

Using a madwifi card on my Dell CP/x laptop gives lots of frame errors, sample ifconfig output:

Possible similar problem with madwifi and an O2Micro bridge is solved here with patch (disabling read prefetch / write burst in CardBridge):
