Hello,
I've noticed since a few days that my CD writer refuses to eject, either
by pushing the button or running the eject command. At first I did not
notice anything in the logs. Rebooting made the door of the drive work
again for a few hours, then it locked each time. Two days ago I noticed
a message from the kernel which seems related.
I include dmesg and related error message. For now I run 2.6.14rc5
because I am waiting for Namesys to release a clean reiser4 patch for
2.6.14. Does the problem ring a bell to someone ? I will try wil 2.6.14
ASAP. Maybe the drive itself is broken (it burns ok after rebooting, so
it is not completely broken).
Thanks in advance for any advice,
--
