I have been encountering a problem for a little while (since rc3 at
least) where acpi goes out to lunch with respect to battery
information. This works properly for a while, but then the following
kernel errors appear:

These continue to occur, every two seconds, until the machine is
rebooted. After this error happens, all acpi battery information
disappears.

topaz# cat /proc/acpi/battery/BAT0/info
present: yes
ERROR: Unable to read battery information

The hardware in question is a thinkpad t41p. It has two
batteries. Please let me know if I can provide any more
information. Does anyone have any suggestions?
