I've seen the following compile error on ia64.
arch/ia64/kernel/acpi-ext.c: In function `acpi_vendor_resource_match':
arch/ia64/kernel/acpi-ext.c:38: error: structure has no member named `id'
make[1]: *** [arch/ia64/kernel/acpi-ext.o] Error 1
make: *** [arch/ia64/kernel] Error 2
Attached patch fix the problem.
