Re: Yenta TI. PCI interrupt probing fails. TI PCI1420. Unknown device.

Hi,

pci=routeirq does not solve it.

cardctl status still reports [ready], [bat low]

I attached various outputs that I found useful.
report_2.6_pcirouteirq_poweroff.txt is 2.6 kernel with pci=routeirq kernel
boot option.

report_2.6_poweroff.txt is 2.6 kernel without pci=... kernel boot option.

Additionally I gave output of 2.4 kernel with kernel option pci=routeirq
(which is discarded...).

We also tried several permutations of the kernel options acpi=off,
irq_mode=0, p2cclk=1 and pci=routeirq to no avail.

Any other ideas?

Thanks,
Markus Becker

PCI: Using ACPI for IRQ routing
** PCI interrupts are no longer routed automatically. If this
** causes a device to stop working, it is probably because the
** driver failed to call pci_enable_device(). As a temporary
** workaround, the "pci=routeirq" argument restores the old
** behavior. If this argument makes the device work again,
** please email the output of "lspci" to [email protected]
** so I can fix the driver.
