6x86MX is newer than 6x86L - and also more "stantard one". IIRC, the
CPUID instruction can be disabled on some Cyrix CPUs. 6x86 without CPUID
might look like a 486. So maybe something is wrong with this.
I have Cyrix MII (newer 6x86MX renamed) and it works fine too.
